Tunisia         February/March 2009

Big, blue skies that go on forever to meet the rolling dunes on the horizon, the perfect recipe for banishing UK winter blues. We had a great time mixing mountains, chotts and desert tracks to make for some great driving, meeting desert nomads near Bir Aouine and bartering for flint arrowheads, exploring abandoned Berber hilltop villages and meeting the 1 remaining family who cling to a lifestyle long since lost. Tunisia continues to enthrall and surprise. We had Fraser and Bob from the Rugged Guide out with us to film the expedition for use in their upcoming Rugged Guide to 4x4 Adventure Tours, watch out for some live video soon.
